This is a blog of my time in Afghanistan. I’d call it a journey, but it feels more permanent. My time here was entirely unexpected and only mostly unplanned. I’m learning about Afghanistan organically – drinking it in one story, one trip, one experience at a time.

The blog has expanded to include my husband, this children and our crazy life that spans the better part of three (sometimes four) continents!
