FOUR! Count them, four whole days of nearly unfettered access to the farm (thanks V)! Fresh air, sunshine and walking, lots of walking! To say nothing of the countless vendors, agencies and organizations that had their wares on display.
The Kabul International AgFair was a hit. Well organized and well attended, vendors and buyers were able to make connections and deals. Though not an “aggie” I still managed to purchase some beautiful Afghan cashmere yarn and a wool wrap.
My favorite thing, aside from the freedom of walking and the cashmere yarn, was the animal enclosure. Hadn’t seen a camel up close. Found out one doesn’t want to get too close… his breath was shocking!!
