Pancakes
2 Eggs (beaten)
1/2 Cup Milk
2 Tbs Oil
3/4 Cup Flour
2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Sugar
German Pancakes
6 Eggs
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Flour
1/4 Tsp Salt
4 Tbs Butter
Mix Ingredients (except butter) and beat until mixture is fluffy. Put 2 Tbs butter into two 9-inch pie pans (or other similarly shaped dish, preferably with sloping sides). Put the pans in the preheating oven and let the butter melt. Pour 1/2 the batter into each pan. Bake at 450 degrees (F) for 20 minutes. Pancakes will puff up. Centers will fall once removed from the oven.
Can be served with butter, powdered sugar and lemon juice – or – fresh cut fruit and whip cream or maple syrup
